About Dimond Excavation

A Southern Idaho contractor that runs its own iron.

Based in Wendell and working across Southern Idaho, running excavation the way it ought to be run.

Our Story

A local outfit, set up to do the job right.

Dimond Excavation LLC operates out of Wendell, Idaho, and works across Southern Idaho. We handle the full range of dirt work: clearing and stripping raw ground, cutting pads, digging foundations and basements, trenching water, sewer, and conduit, shaping grades and drainage, and taking down structures that need to come out. Because we are USDOT-registered we haul our own machines and our own debris, so the schedule does not stall waiting on an outside trucking outfit. The result is the kind of contractor a builder, a developer, or a property owner can call directly: one number, one accountable team, and a real conversation about what your project needs.

  • Site prep, excavation, grading, drainage, demolition, and utilities
  • Insured, with in-house equipment and hauling
  • One point of contact from quote to final walkthrough

How We Operate

Four habits we don’t bend on.

/RULE.01

Tell the truth.

If a project is the wrong fit for our crew, we say so, and try to point you somewhere better. We’d rather pass on the wrong job than do a half-job on it.

/RULE.02

Quote it clean.

We will give you the best quote with all change orders approved ahead of time.

/RULE.03

Run our own iron.

Our equipment, our trucks, our crew. Because we are USDOT-registered we haul in-house, which means fewer subs in the schedule and fewer reasons for the job to slip.

/RULE.04

Finish, then walk.

Final grade, clean site, and a walkthrough with the customer before we leave the lot. The last impression of the job is the one that gets us the next one.

Want to talk through a project?

Whether it’s a single foundation dig or a full site build, we’re happy to look at it and tell you straight what it’ll take.
